Fishing on the Farm – April 17, 2025
Spend a peaceful evening fishing at the scenic pond at Wakamatsu Farm. This family-friendly event is catch-and-release only, and no fishing license is required. Bring your own pole and bait. A $10 donation is suggested.

Art on the Farm Bring your easel and supplies, or camera, and spend the day painting, sketching, or capturing images w/ your camera. At Wakamatsu’s 272 acres of springs, streams, oaks, and vistas, an old barn, dairy, gravesite, home and gardens, the viewpoints are endless. FREE. Donations encouraged. 9am-1pm.
Historical Public Tour Site of the first Japanese colony in America. Docent led tour of Wakamatsu Farm, 10-Noon. Visit Okei-san’s 1871 gravesite and the original 1850’s farmhouse. This 1.5-mile tour is mainly outdoors on dirt trails. Amenities are limited; plan for rugged outdoor leisure.
