Snowshoeing in National Parks
A favorite winter activity of locals and visitors alike is snowshoeing in the Greater Tahoe Area! For experienced snowshoers and outdoorsmen, try venturing out on the trails in Tahoe National Forest, Desolation Wilderness or El Dorado National Forest. Or opt to try the Mount Rose Trail near Incline Village in Tahoe! This hike offers a great trail with waterfalls, alpine lakes and a view of Lake Tahoe. For a dog friendly trail, try Chickadee Ridge, which offers great views of the Desolation Wilderness and Lake Tahoe!
