Pro Swiftwater Rescue Training At American River Resort
Hey, what’s going on out there in the river? Who are those crazy people braving the raging currents?
If you book a camping stay or river trip during April, May or June this year, you may see rescue teams out on the American River pitting their skills against the dangerous challenges of swiftwater rescue.
Sierra Rescue International has selected American River Resort to host professional certification courses in swiftwater rescue.
With on-site whitewater access, event facilities and accommodations, American River Resort makes the perfect swiftwater rescue training site.
Courses are for professional and volunteer emergency responders such as fire fighters, rescue teams and professional rescuers. Swiftwater rescue training is very active in the water and offers rescuers opportunities to develop skills and push personal limits with realistic rescue scenarios, self-rescue challenges, and lots of hands-on interactive rescues and experiences.
